How long does road freight take between the UK and Turkey?
Our scheduled UK–Turkey road service runs on a 72-hour transit time. Speedy Van express services can match this or beat it on smaller consignments, depending on collection location and customs availability.
Do you handle customs clearance yourselves?
Yes. We run our own 24/7 customs clearance facility at Dover, with clearance options at all other major UK ports. Bringing customs in-house means fewer hand-offs, faster release times and a single point of contact for your shipment.
What is Speedy Van and when should I use it?
Speedy Van is our express small-cargo service. Transit times are 24 hours between Turkey and the Balkans, 48 hours to mid-Europe and 72 hours between the UK or Spain and Turkey. Use it for samples, spare parts, urgent commercial deliveries and document-grade cargo.
Do you arrange sea freight from China?
Yes. We arrange FCL and LCL sea freight worldwide. Typical transit times are approximately three weeks from China to the UK and two weeks from Turkey to the UK, with door-to-door options available.
What documents do I need for a UK import?
Typically you need a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or CMR waybill, the importer's EORI number, and any product-specific certificates. Our customs team will tell you exactly what is required for your goods and route.
Can you store goods before delivery?
Yes. We operate bonded and standard warehouses in strategic UK and Turkey locations. We offer cross-docking, palletised storage, pick-and-pack and onward distribution via our own road network.
Do you support project and oversized shipments?
Yes. Our project shipments team handles out-of-gauge cargo, heavy plant and large-scale industrial equipment. We coordinate route surveys, permits, escort vehicles and specialist lifting equipment end to end.
